Mariam Fardous

Mariam Fardous is an astronaut representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and serving as a backup mission specialist for the Ax-2 mission. She is an accomplished physician who most recently served as the Deputy Head of the Department of Data Analysis and Epidemiology at the Executive Administration of Population Health Management in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Fardous’s experience includes roles such as general physician and Healthcare Quality Officer at the Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Makkah, and public health physician and Head of Surveillance Unit at the Infection Prevention and Control in General Directorate of Health Affairs in Makkah.
