What are the limits of innovation and exploration?

For decades, humans have ventured off the planet in search of the answer.

And yet, to date less than 600 people in human history have set foot out of our cosmic cradle. Axiom serves to expand access to Earth’s orbit to more governments, to private individuals, and to a diverse collection of researchers, product developers, and companies seeking to push the boundaries of discovery and, in the process, re-discover our vibrant, delicate home.

The International Space Station has been continuously inhabited since 2000. One of the greatest technical and diplomatic feats in human history, it has hosted hundreds of professional astronauts and thousands of scientific programs during its life.

It is also scheduled to be retired within this decade. The opportunity to live aboard this venerable, pioneering craft and among the nations that built it will then be gone forever.

Axiom is offering private and professional astronaut flights to the ISS beginning in 2021. These missions will provide short, medium, and long duration stays in microgravity at an altitude of 250 miles, allowing a global user base with limited or no prior ISS access to touch the limitless potential and perspective of life in space.

Starting in late 2024, Axiom crews will visit Axiom modules attached to ISS as we construct the permanent, future home for humans in space. The station’s unfolding Axiom segment will contain increased and upgraded space for research and manufacturing, 21st century amenities for space travelers, and a 360-degree Earth observatory offering unvarnished views of the greatest sight human eyes have ever beheld.

Everything until now has been a prologue.

Private Astronauts

Flying with Axiom includes weeks of expert training at space agency facilities that only a privileged few get to see. Training prepares the participant as an astronaut, develops a deep camaraderie with fellow astronauts, and truly inaugurates one as a member of the exclusive space traveler family.
