HOUSTON, November 14, 2023 – Axiom Space is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Lungariello as its new Chief Financial Officer. Bringing over two decades of financial expertise in the aerospace sector, Lungariello is set to play a pivotal role in shaping Axiom Space’s financial strategy and capital raising efforts.

Before joining Axiom Space, Lungariello served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Quantum Space, a company renowned for its innovative approach to space infrastructure and services. At Quantum, he was instrumental in building spacecraft and data platforms catering to the needs of customers in Geosynchronous Equatorial Orbit (GEO) and cislunar space.

Lungariello's rich career portfolio also includes his tenure as President, CEO, and Board Member of a commercial aircraft lessor and investor, where he led significant growth phases and capital-raising endeavors. He also served as CFO of the company.
Holding a Master of Business Administration from New York University Stern and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Manhattan College in New York, Lungariello is a seasoned executive with a comprehensive understanding of the financial dynamics in the aerospace industry.
Lungariello joins Axiom Space at a critical time of growth for both the company and the commercial space industry. His expertise will help build toward a future where nations and individuals have expanded access to the unique vantages of space for the advancement of civilization.
