State-of-the-art miniaturized satellites need energy-efficient maneuvering ability with low propulsion forces. This project is a forerunner of an improved ion-jet propulsion system that uses low-melting point metals. For this experiment, microfluidic behavior of molten indium at two different temperatures will be investigated.
