Anand took ContextWeb, a garage startup, to a valuation exceeding $180 million, firmly establishing himself as a trailblazer in digital advertising. He later served as Chairman of ContextWeb, guiding its strategic growth until its eventual acquisition by Internet Brands, the parent company of WebMD. Additionally, his work at ContextWeb was honored by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year in the Metro New York Area, highlighting his outstanding contributions to business and innovation.

Throughout his career, Anand has developed and patented cutting-edge solutions that have redefined industries, including inventing the first-ever online ad exchange, ADSDAQ, and pioneering machine-learning-based advertising models. These innovations have become foundational cornerstones of the digital media industry, receiving accolades from leading media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and CNN.

As Founder & CEO of NimbleTV, Anand transformed how people consume television by launching a pioneering service that allowed users to stream live TV with a cloud-based DVR.

Anand’s career reflects his passion for innovation and problem-solving. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.
